Intive has decided to expand its occupied office space to 2,700 square meters in Szczecin's Maris office building. The company will lease almost half of the available space, and the new agreement with Arcona Capital, which owns the building, is to be based on long-term cooperation. The building was built in 2006 and has a total area of 5,455 square meters. It also offers 119 parking spaces spread over an underground floor. The Maris Office Center is distinguished by its high quality finishes, many working amenities and eco-friendly solutions in the interest of environmental protection. The director of Arkona Capital sees investment potential in the office building and is pleased that leading technology brand Intive has decided to trust them.
A health- and sports-promoting event called "Summer Fitness Zone" is being implemented at Royal Wilanów, through which office building tenants and Warsaw residents will be able to get active in activities organized by AirBike, Nike and many others. The event will feature advice from Artis Wellness Club instructors and personal trainers. Participants will have the opportunity to test their strength in disciplines such as crossfit, spinning and boxing. M&A Capital has acquired the Crown Square office building, ending an almost eight-year "tenure" of the Invesco Real Estate group. The building is located near Daszyński Roundabout and offers 16,000 square meters of innovative office space. For the new owners, the building is an important part of their long-term investment strategy, as well as their second asset in the Wola district - the first being Karolkowa Business Park. Crown Square is fully leased by large companies operating in Poland, and the project has received a BREEAM certificate of "Excellent".
A number of companies residing in the North Gate office building have decided to extend their leases, and some have made significant expansions in the space they occupy. Among them were pharmaceutical conglomerate Sanofi, trading company Phoenix Chemicals Trading, one of the State Treasury companies and generic drug manufacturer Zentiva Polska. The building is an attractive investment product on the northern outskirts of downtown Warsaw. The owners are soon to upgrade the reception area and common areas, as well as create a new terrace with a garden on the third floor. The office space of this 90-square-meter building is made to Class A standards, with a total area of 48,000 square meters. The building is located near the Dworzec Gdański subway station, the Ibis hotel and the Arkadia Shopping Center. Brookfield Partners agency advised the state-owned company in the transaction.
BAE Systems, which deals with cyber security and digital transformation issues, and Locotranssped, a company specializing in refrigerated road transport, have joined the ranks of tenants at Malta Office Park in Poznań. BAE Systems currently occupies 1,264 square meters of office space, and will expand its space to 2,475 square meters after signing the new agreement. It currently employs 170 consultants, but the company's management has plans for a 50 percent increase in staff by the end of 2018. Locotranssped, meanwhile, is to occupy a space of 546 square meters on the second floor of Building D. Malta Office Park is a complex of six Class A buildings that feature raised technical floors and suspended ceilings. The advantage of the complex is its convenient location, on one of Poznań's main arteries, as well as the friendly environment of companies from various industries. Malta Office Park has become the headquarters of such companies as IKEA, Roche and McKinsey EMEA.
All of the buildings of Gdanski Business Center have been included in Savills Investment Management's real estate portfolio. HB Reavis, which owns the buildings, sold two office buildings in the complex in 2018, with a total area of 53,000 square meters, and two in 2016, with an area of 48,000 square meters. The business center employs nearly 10,000 people, and is home to Aviva, KPMG and Euronet, among others. The sale transaction to Savills IM is one of the largest in the Polish office market this year. The complex is characterized by modernity, aesthetics and remarkable, lofty architecture. The buildings have received a BREEAM certificate at the "Excellent" level.
Malachowski Square has gone into the hands of Generali Real Estate. The deal was finalized by White Star Real Estate and Europa Capital, on behalf of the GEIH fund of the Generali Group. The office building offers modern spaces of A-class standard, integrated into the revitalized Count Raczynski townhouse. The building is located between the center of Warsaw and the Old Town, next to Saski Park and Piłsudski Square. Its tenants include the law firm K&L Gates, CVC Capital Partners and the Solski Communication agency. The first floor features retail and service establishments, and two restaurants will open soon. The building's success is evidenced by the fact that it is more than 90 percent commercialized.
WeWork, a company that provides coworking spaces around the world, has become the exclusive tenant of the West Building of Mint Legacy Tower. Founded by Adam Neumann and Miguel McKelvey in 2010 in New York, the company is dedicated to providing start-ups, entrepreneurs and small businesses with coworking spaces. The leased building is a 43-meter-high structure, designed by Chicago-based Goettsch Partners in collaboration with Epstein design firm. The 17th and 18th floors of the complex's main office building will house the Allen & Overy law firm. The project will be ready in autumn 2019, and recently managed to obtain BREEAM certification at the "Outstanding" level.
EPAM Systems is staying at Olivia Business Center for a while longer. The American IT company will occupy 10,000 square meters of office space, including 8,000 square meters of space in the newly constructed Olivia Prime building. It is an ideal place for companies that are gradually hiring new employees and plan to flourish in the near future. A distinguishing element of the complex is the ability to get out into the fresh air without having to leave the office. The developers have provided for green terraces on the roof in order to provide employees with some respite and constant contact with nature. In addition, in order to activate tenants, team regattas are organized as part of the Business Sailing League, thanks to which corporate teams gradually integrate.

The Polish branch of this company, which dominates the domestic market, will move its headquarters to the Bobrowiecka 8 office building. Their premises will be located on the second floor of the building, where they will occupy about 2,800 square meters of space. The entire building is 25,000 square meters of Class A office and service space, which is surrounded by restaurants, schools and grocery stores. Thanks to the agreement, the Bobrowiecka office building will be more than 70 percent commercialized. The space arrangement of the new office will allow employees to be more comfortable, which will translate into future growth for the company.
