Warsaw BGK headquarters undergoes modernization

The headquarters of Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego in Warsaw is undergoing modernization. The renovation is taking place on the occasion of the upcoming 100th anniversary of BGK, and employees have moved their workplaces to the Varso II office building for the period. The 100th anniversary of BGK - Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego - is approaching. For this reason, it was decided to modernize the bank's historic headquarters at 7 Jerozolimskie Avenue in Warsaw. It was originally built in 1931, based on a design by Rudolf Swierczynski. The building is already on the list of historical monuments. The renovation work will aim to restore the building to its pre-war layout, while becoming an attractive and comfortable place to work. For the duration of the renovation, about four years, the bank's employees have moved their headquarters to the Varso II office building, which is part of a complex of three Varso Place buildings. It provides a total of about 75,000 sqm of office space. The building's tenants have underground parking spaces, bicycle amenities and recreational green zones at their disposal.
