Work on the multifunctional Norblin Factory complex is nearing completion. Their final stage heralds the rapid completion of the investment and making it available to Warsaw residents.
The site of the former Norblin, Buch Brothers and T. Werner plating factories, and the Warsaw Metal Rolling Mill after World War II, is now an investment area of the Capital Park Group, where revitalization of historic buildings and erection of office buildings is taking place. Warbud SA has become the contractor for the investment. Work is currently underway on the areas around the Norblin Factory and the special alleys between the preserved and renovated elements of the historic factory. The building, due to its historical value and age, required necessary restoration work, which is now in its final stage. The machinery and equipment of the former factory have also been revitalized.
The Norblin factory will have about 41,000 sqm of class A+ office space. Arrangement work of the modern premises is currently underway, which heralds the rapid completion of the investment and its commissioning, which is planned for autumn this year. The architectural design is the responsibility of PRC Architekci studio. The building will offer its tenants many amenities, including parking spaces for cars and fully automated bicycle parking. Norblin's factory has been chosen for its headquarters by such companies as Allegro, SEB Bank and Japan Tobacco International. The first tenants will move into the building in early September.
