A Swiss technology concern has established its new headquarters in Lodz. ABB has signed an agreement to lease office space in a building from the Monopolis complex.
Lodz's Monopolis complex has become the headquarters for another Swiss company. This time the international technology company ABB has moved into the building. The company has leased more than 1,400 sqm of office space in the first finished building included in the complex. With this lease, the office building has already been fully commercialized.
Monopolis is a complex of buildings that includes four structures. One of them is the revitalized building of the Monopoly Vodka plant, and the others are successively added buildings. The realization of the first has already been completed. Work is currently underway on the second phase of the project. Monopolis will provide a total of about 24,000 sqm of office space. The building will also serve a cultural function. It will include a museum, theater and gallery, among other facilities. According to plans, the entire complex will be ready and put into operation in 2023.
