Leroy Merlin is setting up its new headquarters in the Forest building complex. The company has signed a lease for office space in one of them, marking one of the most important transactions of the past year in the Warsaw office market.
The chain of construction industry stores, Leroy Merlin, has decided to expand its operations with another headquarters for its office staff starting in 2022. The company will occupy more than 12,000 sqm of office space in one of the buildings that make up Warsaw's Forest complex. Leroy Merlin's lease of space on three floors of the office tower represents one of the largest transactions in Warsaw in 2020.
The Forest building complex, which is under construction on Burakowska Street in Warsaw, will be completed by the end of this year. The building will deliver some 78,000 sqm of leasable space to the market. Future tenants will have at their disposal, in addition to parking spaces for cars and bicycles, many green areas, such as a patio with a pond, terraces, small greenhouses or boxes for insects and birds. Thanks to these environmentally friendly solutions, the complex has been awarded BREEAM, BREEAM Communities and WELL certificates.
