Skanska is surprising with more environmentally friendly solutions. This time it used concrete with a reduced carbon footprint in the construction of the P180 office building.
Skanska is the undisputed leader in the use of ecological solutions during construction projects. The company, together with CEMEX, used a modern, "green" material - Vertua® reduced carbon footprint concrete - for the construction of the P180 office building in Warsaw. The solution brings the company ever closer to its goal of reducing carbon emissions by 50 percent by 2030, as well as full carbon neutrality by 2045.
P180 is a facility being built on Pulawska Street in Warsaw in close proximity to the subway. Its construction began in the second quarter of 2020 and is scheduled for completion in the third quarter of 2022. The building will have about 32,000 sqm of leasable space and numerous amenities. These will include underground parking spaces for cars, infrastructure for cyclists or spaces for scooters and scooters.
